FDA (food and Drug Administration) have been found the major catering facilities for Airline food supplies are not safe,which mean hygiene and poor environment. FDA inspector cited for improper food temperature, dirty equipments and not to forget inspector found… cockroaches,mice and flies. Seems this facilities never heard of pest control, believe it or not this caterers are the biggest in the country, they prepares millions of meal to major airlines.This news was all over the newspapers specially in “USA Today’.

Passengers with lost or damaged luggage items filed 11,700 compensation claims with the (TSA)Transportation Security Administration last year, a decline of more than 50% from the 26,500 claims filed in 2004. The compensation paid out on those claims fell even more sharply: $3.2 million in 2004 vs. $323,000 last year. Experts say the improved numbers are because of additional safeguards such as more surveillance cameras and “hands-free” conveyor belts that reduce the need for human handling of bags…….please give your feedback….↑

Since 2002 Airlines business practice has been change and the fees are soaring sky rocket.If you book a flight,you may pay to the Airliner many fees, those could be a seat selections,Food, Beer & Wine,Extra luggage, over weight,Pillow,Movies and so on,only fee they don’t charge you the air / oxygen which you are breathing 30 thousand feet above in side the plane,but don’t be surprise if one of this day you see a fee for the Oxygen too.If you don’t pay than no air supply to breath…you may..suffocated..If you do not know which Airlines has less fees or no fees than you should contact a Travel Agent.If you have a physician for your health,Mechanics for your Car to repairs than you should have your own Travel Agent who could help you to consult and find a cheaper airfare and may avoid those ridiculous fees.Keep in mind web site is not always a good place to buy air tickets or vacation packages,I have a Travel agent who also charge me a small fees which I do understand because Airlines dont pay any commission to them, so they have to charge me a small fee to live. But it’s worth. You will save more money than your service fee
